(4) Is Ozone dangerous ?

Ozone is a strong oxidant (O3, tri-atomic oxygen). BLUE uses a controlled concentration of ozone gas, below levels where spontaneous combustion may occur. Ozone cannot “build up” in-situ, instead, it dissipates, disperses and dissolves easily into soil and groundwater and naturally degrades to oxygen over time.

Ozone is a strong oxidant, and must be applied safely to a site. Specific equipment and Health & Safety procedures must be followed. Ozone should only be applied by trained professionals. Do not attempt to experiment with ozone without consulting experienced practitioners.
